This program teaches the basic fundamentals of lacrosse, scooping, cradling, stick skills, scooping ground balls, defensive & offensive drills, (We will be scrimmaging ourselves or scrimmaging other towns). The main focus for the ground ball program is to make sure the players are having fun while teaching them basic lacrosse skills necessary for the next level of play.

Practices are generally one night per week starting around the end of March/beginning of April.  After a few weeks we try to set up scrimmages with other towns.  Practices usually start at 6 p.m. and run one to 1.5 hours. The actual day will depend on the coach.  If you have an interest in coaching please register to be a volunteer coach using the link below.

Equipment needed for Girls: Girls' Lacrosse stick, girls' Lacrosse goggles/helmet, cleats, mouthpiece.
Equipment needed for Boys: Boys' Lacrosse stick, helmet, gloves, elbow pads, chest pad, mouthpiece, & cup.

In accordance with Township Ordinance No. 18-2023, all persons who wish to volunteer in our sponsored youth sports organizations are required to complete a criminal background check. As of Wednesday, July 19, 2023 all criminal background checks for EHT volunteers will be processed online by Protect Youth Sports. The Township is no longer requiring a fingerprinting appointment.
